one of my friends came to NY 10 days ago but we could not meet together because i did not have enough time... I am very sorry to him....I said " If you come here , I will go around Manhattan with you..I lied to him...I said i am so sorry many times... I thought he was very disappointed ... We met in the universuty while we played basketball. It was the first time we met.i wish i could meet him in next week...

    I am sure you can have time and hang out with him.Do not be sad. Your friend can understand your condition.

    I agree with May. I'm sure he'll understand. You didn't "lie" to him. It just turned out that things didn't work out. How much longer is he staying? Isn't it possible you could still get together?
